Medical Gas Alaram

Medical gas alarms are safety-critical systems used in hospitals to continuously monitor pressure and flow for oxygen, nitrous oxide, medical air, vacuum, and carbon dioxide. Sensors on manifolds, in plant rooms, and at zone valve boxes feed real time data to area and master panels. The panels display the gas name, live pressure, and alarm status so staff can respond quickly. Audible buzzers and bright visual indicators activate when readings deviate from set limits due to leaks, pressure drops, or overpressure. This helps maintain a reliable supply to outlets and protects patient safety.

Typical features include high and low setpoints per gas, acknowledge and mute with auto re-alarm, and basic event logging. Most models provide battery backup to keep monitoring active during power interruptions. Interfaces for BMS or nurse call are available through dry contacts or network modules for centralized supervision. Panels come in surface or flush mount formats with tamper-resistant fronts and easy access for calibration.
