Reverse Laminar Airflow

A Sampling and Dispensing Booth, also called an RLAF Weighing Booth, is a laminar airflow filtration cabin used for safe dispensing, sampling, and weighing of powders and chemicals in pharma, biotech, and chemical facilities. It creates a clean ISO Class 5 work zone with uniform vertical downflow through H13 or H14 HEPA filters, while side and rear extraction grilles capture stray dust at the source. The airflow design maintains slight negative pressure inside the booth so particles do not escape into the room, which reduces cross contamination and operator exposure. A typical setup recirculates a portion of the clean air and exhausts the rest through prefilters and fine filters to protect the environment. Cabinets are fabricated from SS 304 with smooth interiors, clear viewing panels, LED lighting, a differential pressure gauge, and EC or VFD controlled blowers that hold 0.3 to 0.5 m/s at the work zone. Options include integrated weighing platforms, anti-vibration mounts, UV germicidal light with safety interlock, data logging, and custom sizes for bags, drums, and containers.
