The supply connection is provided in the same manner described for self-sealing valves. It uses gas-specific, non-interchangeable connectors so the correct probe mates with the correct gas every time, and the internal self-sealing mechanism closes automatically when the probe is removed to prevent leakage. The inlet terminates in degreased medical-grade copper piping with silver-brazed joints, nitrogen purged during brazing to avoid internal oxidation, and oxygen-clean components where required. Each connection includes clear gas identification, flow-direction marking, and provision for isolation via the zone valve box, with optional test points for commissioning.
